Floor height is unchanged according to the cross-section I once shared. RBM 2.70 m and clear room height then approx. 2.50 m. The staircase used has 6+1+6 steps and 1.93x2.70 m.

What are the optimal dimensions for a landing staircase with this room height?

As I said, the dimensions come from the planning software I used. Therefore, they should be roughly correct. The bed upstairs, for example, is 180x206.5 cm.

The house is now, in this design, basically rotated by 90 degrees so that the utility room and WC face the street and the entrance faces north.

We will try again to think about the elongated rooms.

From your point of view, are there also things that fit well with the new design?

The open space of course, 3.60 is too little for a kitchen with only one row. There is hardly any space to work, i.e., prepare food. The sense of space in length is not nice, put politely. Furnishable, but when the dining table is in use, you can't get past the cabinet.
Children's room of 2.41 is then including plaster 2.38. You can tolerate that for an office, but definitely not as a living space where a child does everything?!
I also consider the 2.71 RBM for the guest room, as it is supposed to be furnished, borderline. You can no longer get around the bed or extended sofa. 2.80 is my absolute limit; 3.10 would be the target, and then x 4.10.

I also find the second self-design terrible.
Hall character in the living room = extremely uncomfortable and difficult to furnish
Little workspace in the kitchen and hardly any storage space
A lot of space wasted on hallways - e.g. in front of the guest WC, in front of the stairs, and guest room
2 closets are impractical
Upstairs has a lot of hallway space
Child 2 is poorly laid out
Stairwell is dark

Why don’t you look at prefab house floor plans? Your requirements are really not unusual.

Ah, it would then be oriented like this, north at the top of the plan

What I notice now is that it would be a totally dark stairway, since there is no light anywhere.

Regarding the stairs... the floor-to-floor height is decisive for the determination, not the clear room height, nor the height without the finished floor. So it would be 285 cm

For the stairs, we have created some typical examples in the pinned thread:

Definitely does not fit

The search engines spit out dozens of good drafts. I would rather think in this direction. You could move the kitchen forward and then set up a small guest room in the bottom left if you absolutely need something like that.

13 steps are at least 2 too few. No idea what program you are using, but stairs should be modifiable to fit the house individually. I can't imagine that your program calculates it, no offense intended.
