Well, the staircase is still steep and has quite a shallow tread depth.
Unfortunately, the fittings, especially the kitchen, realistic wardrobe dimensions, etc., have not been adjusted. The kitchen passages next to this cooking island are about 50 cm.
The wardrobes in the dressing room are less than 60 cm deep with doors.
The planning of the children's rooms... I can only repeat the tip with the 140 cm youth beds, it doesn't fit like that either.
Master bedroom, the width for the bed is 327 cm and the passage is again right next to the headboard. On the other hand, from the foot of the bed to the left wall is more likely unused space.
The bathtub on the upper floor behind the door, hmm.
I still don't understand why the upper floor bathroom and utility room should only have these basement window strips.
The shower on the ground floor should have the open side facing the window.
And the draftsman should add the north arrow to his drawings.
Thanks. I also still see the staircase as an issue, although the current one is a compromise between the two straight example staircases from the thread where the post was created.
The space around the cooking island is also too small for us; wardrobes (office, dressing room, child, guest) should now all have 60 cm depth (e.g., the dimension between the dressing room and child’s room is about 1.24 m without a wall, so 60 cm units should fit). Or what exactly do you mean with your comment regarding wardrobes and the dressing room?
The guest room is to have a 1.40 m bed. This needs to be adjusted in the drawing and then the distances checked again. In the children's room, we are initially planning a 1.20 m bed and later, in adolescence, a larger sofa bed.
The bed will probably be rotated downward in the plan and the utility room made slightly smaller if the distances are not sufficient. The window would then have to be removed. The bathtub in the bathroom will also be shifted downward in the plan. North is downwards/on the right.
In general, the windows have not yet been further adjusted. The idea with narrow windows in the bathroom and utility room was more privacy in the bathroom and more possibilities for storage space in the utility room since it is only a storage, technical, or laundry room. But we will reconsider this. Do you have an idea of how you would design the windows?
I like the tip regarding the shower; we don’t like the narrow cloakroom.
