That leaves 72-77 cm with 207 cm. It gets tighter then. And all of this are still rough construction measurements.

The wall to the shower can be, for example, executed with a height of 210 to 220 cm so that during the day you can get by without additional light (works well for me in the bathroom) and honestly. Who needs full daylight when showering? If it’s too dark or actually dark outside, then I simply have a spotlight in the shower that I can turn on with a separate light switch.

By the way, I would divide the guest bathroom on the ground floor (250 cm x 188 cm) as follows. Shower calculated with a width of 90 cm, washbasin with a width of 60 cm, leaving about 85 cm for the toilet.

I also don’t need daylight when showering. That actually works without artificial light. But we have already addressed the issue of the dimensions in the bathroom and made the OP aware of it. I still find the guest toilet terrible here. But we don’t want to keep discussing the same thing. If no consensus is reached or the OP doesn’t want to understand, is not reasonable, or does not check anything themselves, they have to take responsibility for it themselves.

As mentioned, we are still working on the guest bathroom. I really like the suggestion from . The open part of the shower is then closed off as a splash guard with a shower door? Or is that not necessary?

We will incorporate the note about the spacing in the bathroom again into the execution planning.

Daylight in the shower is actually not that important to us. I also like the suggestion from with the slightly lower wall.

We have a shower curtain across the entire width without a wall stub because - nobody wants to constantly clean glass walls, - the room looks bigger when the curtain is open, - it is a guest toilet/bathroom, - the curtain is washable, - it is a cost-effective solution

In the past, a wall was also placed between the bathtub and the shower. It was 2 meters high and served wonderfully as a child-safe shelf for shampoo and shower gel.

I would initially solve that in the guest bathroom like . Possibly even initially without a curtain at all, because the wall could easily be 100 cm long there and the splash area is still the "shower".
