I always wonder how often the topic of storage space is discussed and yet the children's rooms are not addressed. Everyone who has children laughs about the placeholder furniture in the plans.

Because they are just placeholders. Larger furniture fits everywhere. The rooms are sufficiently large for children.
In the niche, either a bed or a wardrobe fits, both are sufficiently spacious. Later, a double sofa bed also fits. On the right side of the plan, you also have 2 meters each for a wardrobe or bed. At the top or bottom of the plan, there is enough space for a desk or bed. Sideboards also fit.
So there are so many furnishing possibilities in the rooms. And certainly enough storage space for one person.

I and other discussion enthusiasts have pointed out the cabinet depth dozens of times at the beginning (and still now). There is a huge cabinet drawn in, which is probably a bit too large for a wardrobe in a child's room. However, there is still enough space available for various shelves. Schorsch, these are 15! sqm rooms without sloping ceilings! Many don't even have a living room this size. This house, by the way, doesn't either.

The sketches (mine) are now also without a pre-wall. This also means without a shelf and without a niche for a mirror cabinet.

Sorry, I hadn’t seen that.

Yes, that’s all correct, but if floor-to-ceiling windows are badly planned, and thus the otherwise obvious “private” bed niche cannot be realized, then the windows should be reconsidered in order to give the large room many different furnishing options.

Regarding the facades Northwest side The two tall hallway windows are impractical for two reasons. They will probably be fixed glazing, so cleaning from the outside will be difficult. And between the bathroom and the parents’ area, if there were a wider window with a normal sill height, a chest of drawers could fit, for example for bedding or bathroom supplies or extra blankets etc.

East side So far, quite okay .. I don’t know if these connecting elements between the windows are necessary. Is that just a paint design or some special material?

Southeast side As mentioned, I would not install floor-to-ceiling windows in the children’s rooms. Wider “normal windows” generally provide more light and also allow the room to be furnished more variably.

West side As I already wrote in the room assessment, I would widen the terrace door there to 2 m and try to adapt the kitchen window. In doing so, really consider the kitchen’s content.

You also have a shelf on the washbasin. The more shelves there are, the more stuff you put on them, which can also be nicely stored in the mirrored cabinet. The more you have, the more you have to clean. A mirrored cabinet also works well without a stud wall.

It was only meant to convey that this is not absolutely necessary.
