First of all, I think it's good that there are people who want to build small and be flexible at the same time. I can well understand that. I find this utility room kitchen combo difficult and above all a waste of space. Because it takes up a lot of space in the kitchen. Have you ever thought about putting the kitchen where the utility room is? Utility room where the guest room and/or guest bathroom is. Then you could cleverly also accommodate a wardrobe and shoe cabinet there and the hallway is always tidy. Guest room then accessible from the hallway or living room. With little walking distance..I don't understand what orientation that means. But I am convinced that every orientation has its advantages.

Thanks again for all the previous answers. We now have a first draft of our floor plan with the dimensions and some furniture. We have picked up some things here and adjusted accordingly. What do you think now?
There is no window on the kitchen side facing north, as the carport will be located directly adjacent.
In the upstairs bedrooms, we are still undecided about the roof windows, as we have read several times that these come with noise from rain and hail. However, if we leave them out, we fear there will not be enough light coming in. All bedrooms still have double-leaf windows.
Can you point out disadvantages of our floor plan here that we might want to pay attention to again?
Thanks in advance for your effort.

The causality does not make sense to me. North is a great side for never glaring light, perfect for kitchen work.

Counter question: where have you hidden the improvements – I only see changes. Two disadvantages stand out: toilet and bathtub, for both I would have a head height problem. If you still have 3 cm clearance above your head, that is just enough to actually not hit your head, but it doesn’t feel that way.

Our covered carport is located in the north. Therefore, we omitted the window here, since no light would shine in through this covering anyway.

There are improvements compared to the old design after all: for example, the small guest room with integrated shower you mentioned is gone.
But thanks anyway for your suggestions.

And where would the street be now? Is it all twisted for the viewer now or sensible? Do I have to somehow turn YOUR house now?

The traffic-calmed street is located in the east. To the west, it is undeveloped.
