I almost wanted to say: never position the sofa so that you are facing a wall. but: I really like it with the door to the office like that. The TV wall can be displayed well as an eyecatcher, making everything look spacious through the “wall panel.” Also, the non-classical passage through the kitchen finally gives some breathing room again. Those U-shaped kitchens with that worm-like extension, where you already feel claustrophobic in the floor plan because you somehow trap yourself there (how do you even move around with two people?), are so unimaginative.. at least that's how I feel. Very nice approach, Katja. I would leave out the cabinet at the bottom of the plan and create a straight wall. Then add a shelf/sideboard there. I would arrange the WC differently with the door on the right side of the plan and then place the wardrobe cabinet around the corner, but leave the exterior wall free, possibly with a bench.
