So, unfortunately, nothing will work with the floor-to-ceiling window. What if I enlarge the two windows there to 1.25?

But even if you don’t choose a covered terrace now, you will still install an awning, right?

However, I would then treat all windows with these dimensions the same.

Nevertheless, the arrangement of these two windows outside and inside doesn't help you. They were simply placed symmetrically in the wall without much planning. Who needs a window above their sofa, and why are they symmetrical when the interior design isn't like that, and the exterior view to the west is additionally extended by a wing that doesn't have a window at all. Therefore, I would not orient myself by these two windows... but that is my personal opinion.

I don't need it above the sofa, but it will definitely brighten the room, so why should I leave it out. The west wall without windows is meant to suppress the noise level to the adjacent children's room. And why treat all windows with these dimensions the same way again. It's just about giving this area more brightness.

And without planning, just thrown in, I don't find that very nice either. We have thought about it for a very long time.

No, not planned for now
Now: full south side of a two-story building
Then: southwest side of a bungalow

The roof including the overhang therefore comes down a lot further and takes away light. Last year we were at the shell construction of a bungalow with a 2m covered terrace and found it very dark there.

By "planrechts" I mean the north exterior wall??? where there is currently no window in the living room.
