That's easily 500 euros electricity deduction per month? :)

Ok, so 3kWh per hour?! For heating with gas, that is unbelievably much! 10 times as much as a normal single-family house.

Who can, can

...and I'm optimizing my heat pump so that it should use 5kWh less per day. Oh man :-D

It's also somewhat larger. In addition, the pool currently circulates 24 hours. A controlled residential ventilation system that is dimensioned 10 times larger. Over 30 cameras, a large network with servers, perimeter security, etc. The network alone with peripherals pulls about 1kw.

Well, I am somewhat saddened by how some people handle energy. But well, surely only the tip of the iceberg. All the concrete that has gone into the project probably makes the electricity consumption look pale again. Hopefully at least a large photovoltaic system.

Yes, there is also photovoltaics. And in summer, the waste heat from cooling is used to heat the pool. No sealed surfaces, green roofs, etc. I once looked at the bill from our previous apartment. There, the electricity and heating demand per m2 was significantly higher (older multi-family house). Renewable energies are promoted through the Renewable Energy Act surcharge. What happens when electricity demand collapses, as you can currently see. If you talk about resources in construction, then no single-family homes should be built at all. Nor garages, carports, terraces... Let's not even start with holiday flights, pets, meat consumption, children. When does your house construction start now? How big will it be? What percentage of the plot will be built over? Possibly wasting space? Wouldn't another single-family house fit there? See what I mean? You are also in a glass house. Our building can continue to be used after our death. We have no children (it didn’t work out and the desire wasn’t so extreme either). You plan to have two children. That creates a significantly higher resource consumption. So you are welcome to say that electricity consumption is high. You don’t know the house details and can’t assess whether it is actually economical. If that makes you sad, you should rather look in the mirror and ask yourself if you act accordingly.
