This is how my December 14, 2020 looked (SMA Portal - system consumers) [red = power consumption Tecalor THZ 504] [yellow = photovoltaic generation]

My December so far (tecalor THZ 504): you can clearly see from when it was warmer than 0°C ... :)

Quick guide for the first steps:

- Turn the overflow valve completely clockwise (+)
- Turn all ERR to maximum
- Set the heating curve to 27 / 22 / 0
- Set the hot water hysteresis to 6k, PIN 9445
- If applicable, turn off any towel rails in the bathroom

With this, you will have solved 98% of your problems in 20 minutes.

Thanks for the feedback, I will get back to you later with lots of stupid questions from my side. What is this hysteresis and this PIN? In the pink forum, they also talk about volume flows.

How do you know how I have to set my heating curve? Isn’t that individual?

For a current new build, I believe it’s as individual as a VW Golf ;) you can feel free to get in touch. The heating curve will ensure that you don’t freeze or that you can do a steam infusion. I think it can certainly still be adjusted slightly downward for you.

The hysteresis indicates in this case when warm water will be made again, here at <6° below the set warm water temperature. I would generally recommend a set warm water temperature of 48-50°, but that has to be tried out by yourself. We get along great with it.

I would be careful with references to other forums, the admin imposes multi-day breaks for that. I speak from experience...

Anyone who as an admin is not confident in dealing with the fact that there are other forums doesn't matter to me anyway.

Heating curve and thermal balancing will come gradually, what Jeb.. uh Halmi wrote here is actually the most important thing.

I looked at my heating load calculation. The volume flows are in the range of 0.3 to 1.2 liters. Isn’t that very little? But that’s how it is set and it works. Only here someone once mentioned 3l etc. My pump can’t even manage that.
