And brings no comfort, except a lot of work with taxes and defects. But yes, you are right.

Read up on the forum for photovoltaic systems, then you will quickly change your opinions. About controlled residential ventilation. We are building in a village with a forest character, so I want to hear the birds chirping in the morning and not have the window closed. It's probably different near a city and a busy road.

No sorry. Controlled residential ventilation and permanently fresh air vs. birds and the obligation to ventilate.... no thanks, controlled residential ventilation wins hands down.

Controlled residential ventilation is like a fireplace to me. You can have it, you don't have to. As others have already said, it's for comfort. For example, a hot tub is also for that. As long as you don't need it because of the KfW, it's nice to have.

Many also swear by the basement and wouldn't build without one.

I used to drive a Fiat. About 1.5 years ago we treated ourselves to a GLC. I definitely say the GLC wins.

Controlled residential ventilation is gaining popularity simply because there are no more pests in the house, or hardly any. No spiders, no mosquitoes… Great!

I don’t miss opening the window. Then I go out on the balcony or the terrace.

I also think a photovoltaic system including a power storage unit is just cool. Especially since there is currently still a subsidy for the power storage in RLP.
I’m glad we have everything!
That way, in summer you can also run the air conditioning without feeling bad about the high electricity consumption. Because the photovoltaic system is running at the same time!

And spending 12k€+ on that. As I said, nice to have...
