Electricity consumption at home, what is your consumption?

We have a residential building with 242 sqm of heated area and 32 sqm of unheated area. There are 2 adults and 2 kids.

We have installed an air-to-water heat pump for heating and a photovoltaic system with 9.92 kWp on the roof without storage.

This year we consumed 7,185 kWh and used 3,008 kWh from the photovoltaic electricity. So a total consumption of 10,193 kWh.

6,741 kWh were fed into the grid.

Unfortunately, I can't tell you the consumption of the heat pump because the service technician messed up the data this year. And the display of the air-water heat pump shows a consumption of 12,000 kWh...

Well, presumably your air-to-water heat pump is poorly adjusted and consumes more than necessary

Do you find 10,000 kWh for a house of this size including heating costs, hot water, and cooling in summer via the air-to-water heat pump a lot?

We had an electricity consumption of almost 6,000 kWh in our 4.5-room apartment. So I don’t really find the extra 4,000 kWh including heating that much.

In our household, the washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher run almost every day. So I don’t find the value dramatic.

I also find it too much.
