Even if you apparently have too much time, are bored, or just want to trigger me (I can't explain otherwise why you have to dig up an answer after almost 4 weeks just to say something), I'll gladly give you another answer.

No, I have nothing against smokers, alcoholics (or people who like to have a beer after work), drug users, or people who want to pursue their hobbies.

This has nothing to do with apples and oranges. I just like my hobby and am willing to spend money on it. Others may like some of the above things and are willing to spend their money on them.

??? You are also allowed to browse back and read 5 or even 10 pages when someone revives a thread. I was interested in the power consumption here, but I had to notice this statement from you in almost every post. But you probably just wanted to repeat your opinion ;)

But that is also the state of today. We have calculated it and concluded that energy prices today do not differ much compared to the gas boiler. But we bought the heating system for the long term. And there you very quickly face the political question: "How real/dramatic is climate change in my eyes?" For us, it is very real and we believe that blowing CO2 into the air will become very much more expensive very quickly. That was a decisive factor for our decision (economically). Without an economic consideration, it also played a role for us that we have a small son and we wish that he can inherit the house someday and that it will still be above NHN.

Children do not inherit houses; with today’s life expectancy, they themselves are already 70,
Grandchildren inherit houses to move into

Well, that of course conclusively disproves my argument.

Economically, a gas boiler would be best, but the block [Gastherme mit solarem Ertrag] in combination makes it expensive. Therefore, heating with electricity (heat pump) at the same or higher cost, but the future ([Photovoltaik und Wind und Speicherung]) without CO2 is more ecological and desired.
