To my knowledge, a CO2 price is being introduced for the first time. But instead of starting the pricing at €10, it will be €25 right away, contrary to the original decision of the grand coalition. However, this has been clear since 2019.
For a house with gas, this means 0.6 cents more per kWh. Depending on the current working price, this amounts to 10-15% additional costs. And this is only the beginning. In 5 years, no one will install gas heating in new buildings if this path continues.
To prevent that in advance: This cannot be stopped even by "breathable" building materials.
Even though I myself am a fan of the central system, which is in the mentioned price range, it does not necessarily have to be the "royal class." Much cheaper is possible with window rebate ventilators and a few exhaust devices. That would be the absolute minimum requirement for me. Above that, there are decentralized devices with heat recovery.
You repeated perfectly what I wrote in one sentence. It was decided by the Bundestag to start at €10; this was changed yesterday. The law already existed but was not yet in effect.
From 2025, you have additional costs of approximately €200-250 for an average single-family house, assuming there are no further increases.
