Yes, the drilling costs have indeed decreased somewhat due to the new subsidy, but I believe they will rise again soon if more people rely on drilling. Hence the idea of the trench collector, since I already have the excavator on site to carry out the earthworks. The plot is large enough. I planned it at the edge, see drawing. I still have to carry out the heating load calculation, but I think 7 kW is realistic.

Good concept. I would also be happy if our house connection line were laid that well. Unfortunately, the municipality placed the connection points at the end of the property, so everything has to run under the slab. I pray that I never have to deal with that. I think the ground floor ceiling will be installed next week, as the weather remains great. It's about time we choose the roof covering.

Yes, the channel has been relocated in advance on our side and the supply lines are still within the road body but in almost the same position. That should work. We are going to the architect tomorrow to sign the building application.

Very nice, then it can start soon. Hopefully February and March will remain just as pleasant weather-wise.

Are you installing a photovoltaic system?

I now want to make this dependent on what subsidies or savings we can achieve with the heating. I already have a plan, but I also have to keep an eye on the budget. It’s already expensive enough and there are always additional costs on top. But it is on the agenda. Are you making one for that? How many m² of living space do you get?

I am currently planning a 9.9 kWp system (East, South, and West). I am still working on optimizing self-consumption regarding the heat pump and whether the additional heat pump meter is still worthwhile or not. Cost-wise, you are looking at around 12-13k €. DHI has a partner who recently offered me this. I will receive alternative offers this week. It actually should not cost more than €1,000 / kWp (net) anymore (especially considering the declining feed-in tariff). Once I have the alternative offers, I can gladly share some information. We are actually paying it also out of the subsidy as well as some savings that have resulted from the windows and front doors.

About 150 sqm living area (gross) plus 50 sqm garage. Located in RLP near the border to the beautiful Saarland.
