the excavator is parked on our property. Tomorrow is the appointment with DHI, the architect, and the municipality regarding [Versorgung], the day after tomorrow is the "big" construction meeting at our electrician. So it should start next week... it's about time now.

That sounds good on your end! The heating installers are currently busy working with us. The windowsills have also already been installed and the plasterers were there for the first time yesterday as well.
