Regarding the relocation of the insulation, I can only say that it is indeed time-consuming.
We did it over the Easter period and managed it from Thursday to Sunday with three people.

sorry Jochen, I somehow overlooked your question. But I also had a week of vacation and, as you can imagine, was at the construction site from morning till evening.

Regarding the insulation.. everything went well as far as I could read.

We are working on the interior finishing. The ceilings were insulated by the drywall installer and the foil was glued. We installed the battens and gypsum boards last week and are now taping the ceilings ([Vlies oder Glasfasergewebe]) and painting. The move-in date is set.

So I'm getting in touch here as well! After successfully completing the ( ) civil and church wedding, we now have an appointment for a consultation/planning meeting at DHI or someone will come to us at the end of August. We are very curious to see how DHI might (hopefully) differ from other companies.

Then congratulations on your wedding.
I am still absolutely satisfied with our decision for the DHI.
Every now and then there are a few minor things you have to follow up on, but that is normal in construction.

I will start with the insulation tomorrow. The plasterer is done inside for the most part and on Wednesday it will continue outside. Tomorrow I will discuss with the heating engineer how things will proceed so that our deadline 30.11. (move-in) can be met.

As with Jochen, there are here and there some need for discussion with the DHI, but everything is within limits and normal, so at this point in time I can only give my recommendation.

Report on Floor Insulation:

Short and sweet, I'm in deep trouble. Exhausted after sliding on my knees for 12 hours daily, getting up, cutting, doesn’t fit, getting up, cutting, doesn’t fit... eventually it fits, and then gluing...

Of course, I chose the week with the best weather and drank about 10 liters daily, but whatever. Although 10 sqm are still missing, this is due to the material which was just too tight on the last strip. Nevertheless, I don’t need to do this again anytime soon. Next week the heating installers will come, the screed, and then everything will continue as planned...
