Yes, my configuration would be roughly the same. I know DHI's partner through an acquaintance who is currently building a photovoltaic system with them. He is very satisfied. Definitely keep me posted on alternative offers. I want to wait for the earthworks and a few other things before I decide for or against it. I also did not choose the controlled residential ventilation. We couldn't really save much on windows either, even though according to the statement we are well above average.

We are supposed to get 175m² of living space plus 65m² garage. Ah OK. I didn't know they even build abroad.

Excavation work is really not to be underestimated. The disposal costs are sometimes really brutal. We just left out all the gimmicks like fly screens and the like on the windows and also opted for the simpler version of the front door. We were therefore a good bit below the estimate, even though the number of windows on our side is not exactly small either. The original plan included significantly more, which was unaffordable, so we reduced a lot. DHI is not a fan of controlled residential ventilation for nothing. The alternative offers are still pending. The solar installers are all fully booked.

Yesterday the ring beams were set and the base was sealed for us. So far, everything looks quite good. I still assume that the ceiling will be installed this week.

Saarland is already plastered with DHI houses. You can always see it nicely when you drive through the small towns. The houses stand out because of the base coat plaster. But they are increasingly coming over the border as well. A good reputation pays off beyond state borders as well.

/Mod: Why was the thread about experiences with HBF moved here? I don’t necessarily think that’s a good idea, unless you’re no longer interested in approving our posts individually.

So, things are moving quickly for us now. Tomorrow morning, the electrical installations will be planned on the ground floor (deciding on sockets, etc.), Saturday there is an appointment with the roofer, who will probably start the week after next, and in week 9 the windows will arrive.

Since no one could have anticipated the weather would be so good , the organization has been a bit chaotic. But the main thing is that it’s progressing.

I'm glad to hear that! I also have the building permit right in front of me. They didn't make 10 floor slabs in December for nothing, so they can really get started this year and not have to play catch-up in the bathroom. I fear the same for us, so I'm trying to finish the bathroom and kitchen planning this week. After that, I want to plan the heating in detail and then the electrical planning. Although I'm most afraid of that last part.

So far, we also have no finished kitchen planning. This is one of the points we have been putting off forever. But we roughly know where everything goes; it should be enough for the e-planning. As for all the socket stuff, I’m not really stressing about it. There are some people in this forum who think you need a socket for every tiny device. I can live with unplugging one plug and swapping it for another. Regardless of the fact that too many sockets also look ridiculous. Otherwise, it stays relaxed. The ceiling spots in the hallway are already included in the construction planning, and in all other rooms there will be ceiling lights. Mark the spot and that’s it. There is no home automation. What’s not in cannot break.
