DHI Planning and Living St. Wendel

Question, which of you has a Schiedel Absolut in your house?! And further, how did the individual work steps for the construction of the chimney look?! We are currently putting the DHI and their companies apparently to unsolvable tasks when it comes to the proper installation of the chimney. 2 inspection shafts at the bottom are clear, then comes a round hole about 2.30 m high. The chimney is already plastered, a plastic bag with about 20-25 individual parts (including a silver ring with a mesh – the largest part in it) lies on the floor and no one can explain what it is or how it is installed. Exact quote: "..these chimneys are built thousands of times in DHI buildings"... well then, congratulations

Mhh, we also have a [schiedel] chimney, but we don't have anything lying around anymore. No net, no plastic bag, and no ring. Can you take a picture of it?

Hi, so we also have a Schiedel chimney. It was installed back then by the masonry company Elmar B. from N. There was never anything lying around with us, and I currently can't imagine what you might mean by that.

Hello everyone,
after it has been a bit quiet in this thread over the past few weeks, I would like to write something again today:

Unfortunately, we had some bad luck with our interior doors, many of which had defects in the paint on the frames. However, these were replaced without any problems, which set us back about 2 weeks due to the delivery time.

Now everything is okay and we moved in last weekend.

In the coming weeks, we still need to sort through the accumulated works of the last few years and complete the move.

This morning, our blower door test took place. The result of 0.67 is, according to the staff member conducting it, a very decent value for a house of our size.

This afternoon, order will be created in the garage so that our cars can also move in, and next week, planting about 40m of hedge as a privacy screen is on the agenda.

So there is still plenty to do. On occasion, I will still try to write a detailed feedback about our construction. In short, I can already say: I am satisfied and would build again with the company DHI.

We are going to the architect tomorrow to finish the building application! How are things with you? Did everything go well? Already working on the outdoor facilities?
