Our 20-year-old regularly leaves a pan or the stove on in the kitchen, so I would never plan a separate kitchen and even a separate entrance. I don’t even want to think about what the kitchen would look like and how my dishes would disappear there... that probably doesn’t work with all young people.

Best regards

I also think that although it is a nice concept, it is not applicable to all young people.

Caution with freezer in the pantry!!! Plan a door that is large enough for the freezer to fit through. Otherwise, you'll have a 70cm wide freezer in front of a 60cm door. It almost happened to us too

The idea of the storage room upstairs for the laundry is a great idea! I will definitely try to incorporate that.

I really want to have a freezer, and I don't know where else I should put it... Actually, only the kitchen or pantry remains, because I don’t want to carry the frozen goods through half the house (I had that once, never again!). Integrated in the kitchen is of course great, but it significantly limits the choice of the device and increases the price. I think a separate device is cheaper...
Wouldn't the residential ventilation be enough for airing the room?

Side-By-Side in the kitchen? Combo in the kitchen? possibly additionally a combo or a freezer in the utility room?!

Obviously, you should go through all the rooms again and clarify your requirements? A floor plan can only become optimal if you know what requirements you have for it and what purpose each room serves -> e.g. the storage room upstairs ... guest room? office? laundry room? hobby room? or can the square meters be saved? (Every square meter costs a lot of money after all!)
