I just read that if the roof pitch is too low, problems arise. With the planned 20 degrees, we would already be in that range, do you happen to know?

With the rain protection, keyword roof pitch 22 degrees.

Oh, right, yes: below 21, sometimes below 22 degrees, many roof tiles stop being recommended by their manufacturers. But since I (admittedly not an anthracite junkie) have no problem with the alternative "metal roof," I don't think I'm fixated on tiles or concrete roof shingles. I generally like to plan without dogmas.

Hello dear ones. I'm digging this topic out of obscurity!

First of all: I haven't received the architect's plans yet. Of course, I will provide them as soon as they are available.

In the meantime, however, another wish has arisen. We would like to somehow separate the toilet in the bathroom so that even when two people are in the bathroom, one can have privacy on the toilet. I have now tried to implement this. For this, I made the bedroom a bit narrower and moved the dressing room unchanged to the left according to the plan, so that the space is added to the bathroom. I spontaneously thought that a "floating" sliding door could be placed in front of the toilet, which, when open, would cover the niche for the washing machine and dryer (positioned on top of each other). I am aware that the dimensions for the "toilet cubicle" are very small. I would now like to know from you whether that is too small? Does my idea even make sense or are these sliding doors more decoration than actual doors? Do you perhaps have an alternative suggestion for how this could be implemented better?

We have a freestanding sliding door as the entrance to the kitchen. Such a door offers no acoustic shielding, meaning if someone is in the toilet, the other person at the sink hears everything. I don't want to sit in such a dark corner; it's never really bright there. If you need to use the toilet while your partner is in the bathroom, you usually go to the toilet on the ground floor and have your peace there.

Best regards
Sabine
