The property is family-owned and there is no general contractor, so you cannot "resell" a construction contract. And what is the point of a building stop? The bank also has a say in this, because they provided the loan for a house that ultimately has a certain value... and not for a shell ruin... You even have to talk to the bank if you want to reduce the size of the house before construction begins...

Better an end with horror than horror without end. Sometimes I get the impression that even the smallest 400€ jobber is sold villas by the bankers in DE. The OP is not panicking without reason. Understandably, she sleeps poorly with this small income. Because the construction swallows huge sums. So I can understand the lady very well.

I’m telling you, a completely distorted perception of how much net household income home builders in Germany actually have...

But you can't be serious now, can you? "Low" income plus rental income plus salary growth after parental leave – strong performance in financing… in what world do you live? This is a model example of genuine financing with a good salary.

I also think conservatively. Many costs incurred in house construction are not predictable. House building sewn on the edge the construction is not predictable. many unplanned costs come up. and suddenly the €400,000 quickly become €600,000 or much more. I am rather pessimistic with such a small income. but that is just my opinion. if you see it differently, that’s also fine.

This is not a small income and apparently not tight on the edge either. And why should €400,000 become €600,000? Don't exaggerate!
