If it is really the case that the OP is/was in treatment, then of course I am sorry. I am also happy to apologize again for my choice of words.

Nevertheless, it looks very contrived to ME and OBJECTIVELY (Thanks for the post, which fits well). Sorry.

you are of course right about the messing around :) Maybe it was also expressed a bit awkwardly by me. Leaving out the messing around (it doesn't have to be a village with 100 inhabitants now), I think "village life" is probably cheaper than city life in most cases - in all respects. The beer costs €1.40 in the village, €2.50 in Dortmund. Crappy example, I know... :) I get the excavator much more difficultly and much more expensively in the city etc. pp.

I think that is largely outdated by now... the places I know around here, for example, all have the beer for about €3 for 0.3l ;-) But seriously. Housing costs are cheaper in the countryside. Everything else is more or less the same or may even be more expensive in the countryside. Groceries, for example, are often more expensive due to transportation routes, and fuel also due to lack of competition.

I just thought, I want to see the village where the pils still costs 1.40€. I want to go there too. :D That price hasn't even existed here in the village pub for over 10 years.

Some things in the "village" are suddenly more expensive due to lack of competition, for example. I am still in Berlin now, but in the former settlement area, and here a pizza costs 9 EUR and up. That’s just a plain tomato and cheese. 5 km further towards the city center it costs 7 EUR, and another 2 km further you can get it from 5 EUR. Although here too the increased energy costs have an impact. Yesterday I ate a döner in the mid-range area for 6 EUR. It cost 4.50 just half a year ago. By the way, price increases should always be expressed in döner and beer. Because they are stable in demand.

Actually pretty much and by far the only point that bothers me about the village. Inferior doner quality at higher prices. Yes, we were spoiled from the city. Homemade bread, lamb from Lehmann, etc. Everything has its pros and cons.

If one is really so stressed by the construction phase that medical/psychological help is needed, then one should indeed perhaps stop building. What use is a finished house if health/psychology is ruined?
