No problem, feel free to be direct. I can’t understand that the banks see no income for 2 months as a problem when they know the salary is secured. I think that with our salaries and income we are suitable customers. But unfortunately, I don’t get to decide that. We have an appointment for the financing today, let’s see.

I also think that you are misjudging your situation. Currently, there is only one income, which the banks don't really care about in the future. You want to finance over €600k with one salary. How much do you earn?

I would accept the offer over 30 years and at the same time continue to look for other offers. Make sure you can get any financing at all, rather than looking for top conditions.

Hooked in October, closing mid-November..

There aren’t many who give a loan during the probation period (from Jan.).

Banks usually don’t care about what might happen in the future.

The seller is also putting pressure on because he wants to complete the sale quickly. Although I find it almost rude since he only has 2 days left this year for a possible notary appointment and we have only had the confirmation since last Sunday. We can't work miracles either.... Apparently, he needs the money for a flat purchase that is also supposed to happen at short notice. The situation was relaxed at first, now it’s really hectic.

No, we are financing about 500k including incidental costs and modernization. Still, it's quite a hefty sum.

Brief information about processing times: We still guarantee a credit decision in 2022 for all (fully) submitted loan applications by 29.12.2022. However, we do not work directly with customers, but through partners. Therefore, I cannot really understand statements from other banks about long processing times.
