There are so many insurances that you don’t need… you also don’t need double coverage. But when I add up my supplementary health insurance, liability, life insurance, occupational disability, and household insurance, I’m already at 150€/month. Madness…. I knew why I stopped keeping my household budget at 30 :D That’s probably the youth bonus for you guys, when you don’t need anything yet ;)

The last time I bought jeans, they were 30€ each. So that makes 3 and a bit extra for inflation. And such jeans also last a few years. I find 100€ clothing per month a lot.

Ever been to C&A, H&M, or, God forbid, KIK? Anything under 200 euros per pair of pants is social housing? :-)

Not everyone earns that much and has a household income of 5000 euros. I only earn 1400 euros net and get along very well. We drive a Mercedes ML and I only pay 224 euros for insurance. So about 20 euros per month. 5 euros for household insurance and 35 euros for building insurance. I can't think of anything else right now. 2 euros for foreign health insurance, 2 euros for boat insurance, and that's it. That makes 64 euros per month including the car. Vehicle tax is another 40 euros per month. I also need about 100 euros per month for fuel, but I also drive a company car with private use. However, I have to pay taxes on that separately. But currently, that pays off particularly well. So insurance and the car actually only cost 200 euros per month. At least for me. And of course, I am still financing the car and the house. But that should be well known.
