Maybe you should measure your sofa sometime ;) Or is that a bench with a cushion attachment? I've seen worse designs… I'm not talking about the upstairs… but you can tell that the kitchen is really important. Ask your wife where she has storage and preparation surfaces… However, you don't get much from the straight staircase, except the fact that you go down the entire length and not just half the stairs ;)

Living+dining are together as large as the kitchen… Hiking into the little living room…. …. Please reset… I'll spare you the view of the upstairs. Though, the dressing room :D Sorry that this is nothing, every building novice sees that…

The drama? Continues....or maybe not.

We had a session with the planner.
Here are quick and dirty screenshots.

I suspect you will continue to criticize the path to the living room. But so far, we haven't found a better solution. Because the living room should be a bit of a private retreat.

Since we want it spacious downstairs, we banished the office upstairs and slightly increased the storage area downstairs. This naturally made it a bit crowded upstairs.

We don't have a feeling yet whether we like it this way, but feedback is gladly received.

Downstairs, we might still create a niche in the hallway into the utility room for more wardrobe space.

Upstairs, we actually liked the solution with the toilet in the master bathroom. But it somehow completely ruins the narrow hallway.

Not only that: I think too much of the staircase is being built over, which could cause you problems later with the height at the stair start. Also, your roof hatch will become nearly unusable, at least the way it is drawn now. I don’t really want to say much about the “interior.” I also like a retreat space, but here I criticize the choice of the drawing template: it doesn’t look like a standard corner sofa. And as a result, you end up sitting cramped between a load-bearing wall and a built-in TV and don’t feel comfortable. But one question: why do you have to go through the whole kitchen to get to the utility room? Why isn’t the access made right at the beginning of the room? So: was the dream a townhouse? No. Why does the floor plan look like this? I still see the problem in the almost square shape and thus the width of the house: in the entrance area (outside) there is something missing. Well. But what about the south or southwest side? The 3-meter distance to the neighboring buildings allows no daylight/sunlight into the house at all. And not only in winter, also barely in summer. I recently suggested going for a longer shape so you can enjoy the south side, both inside and with a terrace and some garden by the kitchen. I think you have somehow fixated on a few ideas that weren’t mentioned here…

I don't want to do the laundry there - you certainly can't stand in front of the washing machine / dryer...

Overall, it looks like a colorful jumble without an overall concept. No offense, but the house is not cohesive...
