No, I'm not. More like something else. If I were an architect, I wouldn't be here but making money ;)

Since you or your wife don't like the slim design, I modified your floor plan so that you get a bit more spaciousness and light. I deliberately chose an open staircase (my program can't do landings) because of a window that lets in the west sun into the house. In my opinion, the dressing room + utility room + housekeeping room + office provide enough storage space...
I still think the house looks like a block. But maybe you like some aspects of the proposal.
By the way, I think your upper floor is already very well done. Not everything is bad after all ;)

Let’s see if I can still get something done "with reinforcement." My wife thinks that "we’ll then be sitting on the street" on our terrace.
