Just so no wrong impression arises, we do not want to talk you out of your habits. We need this information to decide whether it is only like that because you cannot think of an alternative or whether it must necessarily be so because, for example, the kitchen window on the street is essential.

Here is a standard that I could well imagine:

The floor area should exactly correspond to the floor area of the original floor plan - so it should be a cost-neutral change.

All good. I don't feel attacked. I see it as "constructive criticism."

The kitchen has been moved forward because we no longer want the "living tube" (kitchen, dining area, living room in one line). We have that now. Besides, the view towards the street is desired. The children are often outside while cooking. The new street basically has no traffic.

So your option is also off the table .

Maybe there will also be feedback on my questions from Post #60.

This is not a competition - it is not about a winner.

Yes, the "freshening up" is unrealistic. You don’t have a mega garden where after years of gardening you all come in all muddy from outside. Even three showers are one too many.

No, at most drywall, so you can get rid of it again.

Yes.

Ok, a different standard than the sketch. Windows and various furnishings have to be imagined by yourself. Otherwise, wear and tear on the original poster would be too high. ;)

It would be nice if now nothing like "Help, a bay window is unacceptable" comes up. If necessary, it can be left out. These are just food for thought to be refined by yourself.
So that the guest WC gets a window, there is only a carport here for the car. A garage is annoying anyway due to the width and in general.
