No one has an opinion here anymore or is everyone on vacation?

I think you yourself haven’t said anything about our efforts at the end of July/beginning of August yet – not a word, no sound, no opinion… that’s probably still outstanding?

My opinion has hardly changed. I consider the guest WC with a window to the terrace to be a serious planning error and almost funny. The front door in the direct traffic area of the cars is too dangerous. The orientation of the main rooms towards the garden is half-hearted – the kitchen is quite far from the terrace. Upstairs the dark hallway is due to the number of rooms being squeezed in there. The children's room directly next to the bedroom needs extra soundproofing. The large bathroom still feels cramped – in my opinion the T is the wrong way around. The dressing room without a window is rubbish. Three bathrooms for four people I find excessive. They also all have to be cleaned. There is no real innovation recognizable in the draft. You want it that way – then you’ll get it that way.

What else should I comment on? Narrow house is out. Kitchen should remain in the front. That roughly results in what we have now.

The bathroom facing the terrace is our "dirt sluice" as already mentioned. We couldn’t think of another solution for that. We also don’t see our garage driveway as a highway. Therefore, no concerns about it being dangerous. My old house had the same. The second children’s room is only used rarely. Noise is hardly a problem (we think). Bathroom will have shower and toilet swapped. Yes, the rest upstairs gets tight because we wanted large children’s rooms and an office. Would you give up the closet in the hallway? Are there any suggestions for windows in the dining/kitchen area?

I find the draft more successful than in post #22, but I also miss any response to the suggestions Yvonne and Katja drew for you.

I would rather "clean" rubber boots before entering the house.

Let yourself be guided less by the facade and more by the rooms. Primarily, it has to work for the residents, so inside.

As far as I remember, we discussed this most extensively with .

You don't need to double up on these things. Possibly, a dimpled membrane might make sense. Do you need a guarantee that his embankment will hold? – however, I consider this leveling mostly nonsense.
