Swap the guest room and utility room, that makes the guests happy. The proportion of the third gable/projection/bay window doesn't fit. It is more pleasing from the outside and more usable inside if you, for example, shorten it by half a meter and make it one meter wider. I think the living room is too big – since there is no spatial separation from the dining area, it can become very uncomfortable. I would still tweak that a bit, a wardrobe niche and storage space would also be advantageous. There is enough square meterage anyway. The kitchen is okay as it is. Nice room for an island.
Good morning, why does swapping the utility room with the guest room make the guests happy? – Because the guests get to the bathroom faster? If we swap, however, the utility room/HAR will no longer be as quickly accessible from the kitchen? -> freezer & second refrigerator.
Regarding the gable, I basically agree with you, a bit wider would be nice. However, if I symmetrically widen the gable, the kitchen gets smaller, as do the children's room and bedroom on the upper floor. On the other hand, the office upstairs becomes larger, which I don't need. Or is there another solution?
Wardrobe & storage are planned in the staircase. I am attaching a picture.
