Problems with the division of kitchen, dining, living

What is on the other side of the stairs? The WC and something else?

I also find this floor plan very difficult to design. How many people are supposed to live in the house? How many people come together for parties? How big is your couch?

Difficult... I gave it a try. For that, the kitchen window would need a 1m sill height. I assume this is a semi-detached house?

I like BeHaElJas idea better. I would only furnish the living room differently. Maybe extend the small section of wall further into the room, maybe only half-height, and place the couch there. The kitchen could also consist of a single wall unit and a peninsula, then there could also be a patio door in between.

And, I would find it useful to include the entire floor plan, including the upper floor.

Why is this room so absolute in its layout?

Hi -- I don't like that I have a direct view of the kitchen - but I have gone over the plans again this night. I think I have found an ideal solution. I can vary the walls. That means I can make the wall by the stairs shorter or longer or also make the utility room smaller.
