Originally, we had planned engobed bricks because they were included at no extra cost. However, the heating and clinker were much too expensive. Now we have a change order, but the bricks cost an additional 4000 EUR again. Protegon stones cost about half as much. Concrete stones are supposed to have advantages due to their weight in sound insulation, thermal insulation in summer, and during storms. As a disadvantage, I see the surfaces are not quite as smooth. Protegon is said to be an alternative. We are planning with a 38-degree roof pitch.
