Who talked about a flat roof?! The catalog states 30 degrees. The BT said 35 degrees; price-wise, it doesn't make much difference. I am still waiting for the offer. On one hand, aesthetics; on the other, suitability.

I think around 3000 euros is what it makes, from 30 to 35,

I know it’s getting more and more difficult with care. But that’s just how it is, we try to ease the situation a bit through barrier-free design. Last year a single-family house with an elevator or home lift was an option but now we are of the opinion that only a bungalow. A wheelchair-accessible home lift should cost about €20,000. Maintenance costs €1,500 every 10 years and with 11 uses daily, the annual electricity costs are just under €400. It is not cheap either. Thanks for your tip but for our situation a bungalow is the best choice.

That's exactly how it is, that's why if I don't give up on my renounced wishes, I have to invest another 60-70k €. If it doesn't exist, then I have to leave it out [emoji30] [emoji3] [emoji3]

Are you sure that a bungalow is the best choice? Personally, I see it as a solution for maybe the next 8 years. After that, the bungalow will have reached its limits.

I also don’t understand why you need a lift. The boy stays downstairs, and that’s that. As the oldest, he probably won’t find it so bad not being able to play along with the future little ones. And you’ll be happy if you can banish 2(3) of the 4 children upstairs at times.

Again: a bungalow with your space requirements cannot be had for under 200k. The number stated in the contract will not be the final one. There’s still so much more to come on top of that!

I really don’t expect you to understand our situation. It’s not easy to describe how difficult it is to lose a two-year-old child who was completely healthy and sweet because of an accident or maybe a medical assistant. His life and our lives have changed massively. That’s why we try to care for him as best as we can and do what makes him happy. Maybe partly we do it for ourselves, because when he’s happy, we feel better. Despite his limitations, he is still loving and sweet, he can’t speak, but with his facial expressions and eyes, he can tell everything. I can never accept that he sleeps alone on the ground floor and in the morning sees his siblings upstairs. As I said, one can accept it and one can’t.
