Ultimately, we can talk a lot here. Go to your construction company and get a reasonable offer for a desired bungalow with all the extras you mentioned here. The room layout is initially secondary. You can easily shift that around in the bungalow. Once you have the offer, we'll meet here again. I would actually claim you will exceed your budget.

- barrier-free main and secondary entrance
- disabled-accessible bathroom with height-adjustable second sink
- stairs to the attic
- attic prepared for expansion (?)
- size of the bungalow sufficient for 4 to 5 people and generous walking areas
- work corner or room
- barrier-free terrace exit in the living room and possibly also in the children's room

I will forgo stairs and DB expansion. For the 2nd child, there is KZ. If the 3rd comes, we will forgo the study. You can't predict everything (according to our plan we should have the 3rd child now but we are still busy with our 1st). Let's see, I will probably get a new plan next week

So you are sticking to this plan of the angled bungalow that you initially received from the BU, even though the accessibility is questionable? Am I correct in assuming that a discussion here will not be fruitful? At least I am glad that you are focusing on the current child first, rather than already mentally planning for more without being able to give them space.

Why despair when there are standards and norms that have been agreed upon.
"For space requirements and movement areas without change of direction, DIN 18040-1 and DIN 18040-2 specify ≥120 cm.
For the space required to turn a wheelchair, 150 cm x 150 cm are specified. For other users, e.g. also for users with walkers, 120 cm x 120 cm must be sufficient."
Isn't it better, instead of making optical comparisons with other rooms and relying on feelings, to be somewhat more concrete and talk about comparisons with already existing regulations?

... what does the development plan say now about a gable roof and what pitch is allowed?), by smaller footprint etc.

I copied the following from the note about the development plan in :

@everyone ... the building window looks good ... can anyone tell from this whether only hipped roofs or other roofs are allowed?

I could also imagine a house with a long south side and narrower east/west side. That would also create space for the carport.

, regulations are one thing, they are usually supposed to meet minimum standards. It makes more sense to view the layout from a practical perspective, and every corner is an additional effort that may not always be perfectly precise. So it is sensible to plan straight paths.

Compare the route from children's room 1 to the kitchen in both plans ... just as an example.
