And, please be so kind, in future floor plans always include the north arrow and possibly the indicated garage wall, driveway. There are quite a few threads here and you don’t always have every site plan in mind, and it is tedious to keep scrolling back until you find the information. (Because unfortunately not everyone includes this information right in the very first post, where it could be easily found.) ;)

And definitely always roughly furnish important rooms like kitchens, bedrooms with wardrobes, etc. Then you can also quickly see the weaknesses of floor plans yourself (after some practice ;) ).

Could you possibly show me your floor plan? It would really help me.

The staircase integrated into the living room apparently shouldn't be like that after all.

Kind regards,

I would be at ypg. WZ completely to the west in a north-south orientation. Next to it a straight staircase, next to that on the north side the front door, east of that kitchen and utility room side by side. In the southeast office, next to it guest WC. The pantry is omitted, it's the utility room of 10 sqm, does everything fit in there, the washing machine, the chest, the technology, a storage cabinet or shelf.

I am convinced that it makes more sense to move the living room completely back towards the west. However, I am concerned about the width and size of the living room. It doesn't exceed 30sqm and I hope that is enough.

I don’t think it would be a problem at all to change the entrance to the north instead of the east. I just can’t really imagine what it would look like if the garage were also to be located there.

I know you don’t know approximately where the garage will be, so I will try to draw it tonight.

Keeping the pantry is a wish of my partner. Since we don’t have a basement and she is used to it from earlier, it definitely has to stay, even though I myself am convinced that large cabinets in the kitchen could also compensate for it.

Oh yes, attached is the original floor plan we wanted to use for planning. The idea was simply to swap the entrance with the WC and that’s it.

In theory, only the pantry would be missing from this floor plan.

*edit* and the grid is a bit smaller in the (to 11.84m)
