Therefore, be sure to omit the narrowing wall stubs in the dressing room. They are not needed at all with this construction and take up movement space. They also don't look particularly skillful. The same applies on the ground floor: the wall above the stairs does not fit the kitchen design; there too, the wall stubs, which even seem quite arbitrarily placed, reduce the actual room size. The kitchen feels like a corridor—you move between kitchen units, but with a corridor character. In the end, there remains only another longer corridor towards the stairs. With your idea of placing the entrance all the way to the left, the stairs would also have to switch to the left. Otherwise, you end up with your worm-like house.

I would also not make the children's bath on the ground floor in this case but as a cabin.

This wall will – as of now – be built in drywall construction (the little piece of load-bearing wall must of course remain), so that we can change it during kitchen planning. I don’t want a countertop facing the stairs, but rather facing the dining table. We do need tall cabinets as well, so I think the best place for the fridge and the oven would be there.
Other ideas?

The kids’ bathroom will be a little bigger, 205 x 295. The girls won’t be able to dance there, but I hope it will be sufficient for a shower (cabin), toilet, and sink.

I would also like some feedback regarding the utility room and master bathroom layout. Currently, the following is planned. Where do you see potential for improvement?
We wonder if there is enough space for a freestanding bathtub or if we should rather plan a bathtub with a front wall installation...

If we do decide on the ventilation system after all – would there still be space for it in the utility room? Where could it be placed or hung?

By the way... the pictures are at a scale of 1:50 ;) And yes, there will be a window each in the utility room and the guest WC, but it is not precisely planned yet and therefore not marked.

So...now I'll try again. We are done with the planning for the most part. We have made some changes to the kitchen and the hallway. ...and yes...there is a lot of traffic area. We will really use the [Windfang (Foyer im Grundriss bezeichnet)] only as a passage from the garage into the house + a small guest wardrobe. In the hallway, we are planning a larger (320cm) built-in wardrobe with a small bench and a large mirror.

For structural reasons, we have removed the window behind the couch. We hope it doesn't get too dark. The kitchen should be sufficient. 5 tall cabinets and an island about 3.2m long (there is a pantry planned under the stairs).

Our biggest dilemma: won't the hallway be too narrow and too dark? The wardrobe will be custom-made and illuminated. A large window (200x250) will be installed in the stairwell at the height of the landing, plus the window in the [Windfang]... What do you think?

I know most of you would completely do without the [Windfang] and not attach the garage to the house. However, we have consciously chosen this option and also find it good.

Any suggestions for improvement in the floor plan?

is a nice floor plan! However, I would swap the guest WC and the utility room, otherwise the toilet is in the sightline of the living area. Also, a sink (the one in the WC) at the entrance is sometimes very practical. Be sure to also plan where the 4 trash bins will be placed later!
