Did you visit the tile wholesaler that your general contractor named, in the showroom? Also ask about your preferred tile size and if there is an extra charge, have it put in writing.

I wouldn't see it that critically. Our "everything except bathrooms" tiles, 60x60, light grey, basically like those from , were 20€/sqm at the specialist retailer. In the bathrooms, we took a collection with a pattern for the floor, also 60x60, which were 40€/sqm. We didn't look at wood-look tiles at all, so I don't know anything about them. But for 50€ you should also have a large selection at the specialist retailer without overpaying.

We had 45 euros per tile/sqm back then. There were very few items in the studio that exceeded this price. The difference was credited.

50 EUR/m² tile price in the construction service description is rather good, in my opinion. I don’t know it offhand but I had seen 20, at most 35 EUR/m² in various construction service descriptions.
My general contractor had the 35 EUR/m² but wanted a horrendous amount (about 10,000) for barely 65m² tile area (wall and floor tiles, including shower). I then had that removed.

Yes, our solid construction GUs in the area almost all have 50.00€/m² in the construction and service description. Prefabricated houses à la Schwörerhaus, Hanse, Haas etc. of course often save themselves to death in the industry only to squeeze the money out of the customer afterwards. Here the price is very often only 25-35€.

Yes, we also have 2 small solid builders on the hook here who provide great performance, especially in the areas where all the prefab houses fall short.

The cost transparency is simply much better here. You know exactly what you’re getting into and no longer have to bear huge sums afterwards.
