We are getting gas/solar.

Everything you write is correct. Unfortunately, everything is very brief.

At the beginning, we made the mistake of taking the wrong advice from two landscape gardeners..... statement basically

"What are you coming with this already? Let's wait until the shell construction is up; it doesn't make sense before that to look at the property; otherwise, you don't get a good impression."

The two landscape gardeners consulted last opened our eyes:
"You can't involve us early enough. Usually, we are already involved in the planning phase of the house."

The latter is also understandable. It also shows me that it makes sense to take a landscape gardener who accompanies you from planning to execution and not one of the type described first.

Well, hindsight is always 20/20. Despite everything, you can't rush anything now but only save what can be saved.

The pools I know run with an air-to-water heat pump. That makes sense alongside solar thermal as well. The COP is high in summer, so heating can be quite cheap. The control system will be the be-all and end-all: heating only with good efficiency.

Such a pool is beautiful - preferably also with a counter-current system, so that you can actually swim more than 3 strokes. However, I would like to point out that such a pool also requires a certain amount of maintenance. If the money is available, I would have the pool installed right away. There are also great coverings that no dwarf can get past - they are not cheap, but especially in winter or autumn (leaves!) they are advantageous.

Regarding the maple: During the earthworks, we had water pipes, electricity, and empty conduits laid with connections at the spots where flower beds and trees will be later. The irrigation will then be electronically controlled. What I also find great, if it can be arranged: a private well. Ours was already there, the water quality is good, and this makes filling the pool, sprinkling the lawn, and irrigation very convenient.

Wells don’t pay off for us. We have already done the calculations.

We are currently dealing with the waste bin enclosures. It will probably come down to 240-liter bins. 15 liters of residual waste per person per week are required. That means you either take a 120-liter bin, which is emptied every two weeks, or a 240-liter bin, which is emptied every four weeks. It costs exactly the same. But the equipment of other bins in terms of their volume depends again on the residual waste bin used. In any case, I think it makes sense to have four uniform bin sizes – also in view of the waste bin enclosure.

We currently have a waste bin enclosure from Paul Wolff in our rental property and I think we would find a match with the model Mülltonnenbox Silent 243 again. It is a triple box. The garden bin would then go to the back of the house or into the garage.

Otherwise, only two double blocks would remain for the front, which I already find a lot and somewhat unattractive.

Please start with a small residual waste bin and 14 days emptying as long as you have diaper children. No one wants to have four weeks of poopy diapers sitting in a bin in the middle of summer. You can always switch to something bigger afterwards.
