Prioritizing horticulture. Do you want to have the entire garden planned?

Then my previous tendency, that I rather believe the statement of [Gärtner 2], seems to fit. I think we will take him as well, if the offer for the planning fits.

We talked again calmly about the pool today. In the medium term, we want to have it. But with a 2-year-old child and another one planned, we will probably postpone it for a few years. The safety of the children comes above everything, and they should be able to move relatively freely in the garden without us having to be afraid to go into the kitchen or my wife letting them play outside while cooking. We think the safety risk is simply too high at the beginning.

The annoying thing is that the [Garten-Landschaftsbauer] insists on recommending this as the first step, even before establishing the terrace. Such rough work should definitely be done immediately and not be meddled with later through extensive earthworks on the property.

We definitely need to have another conversation about how best to proceed in such a case. Preparing a pool and then covering it for years is also a pain. From a process perspective, I can understand the [Garten-Landschaftsbauer] - but it also has to fit the life plan in terms of timing.

I agree. Such a pool should be affordable with a mini excavator, and it doesn't immediately plow up the whole garden.

And does the excavation come off the property?

I think so too. On the internet, you often read about swimming ponds and such being built afterward.

Many landscape gardeners use smaller vehicles so they can get into the gardens. It doesn’t have to be a big semi-trailer.
An access way with grass pavers and similar is recommended anyway,

How much excavation is required for such a pool. Everything solvable.
