Prioritizing horticulture. Do you want to have the entire garden planned?

A 3m deep pool??? Do you want to put a 3m diving platform next to it? Even in public pools, the swimming lanes are usually 1.80m to 2.20m deep. Private pools are mostly between 1.20m and 1.60m. What exactly do you have planned? [emoji4]

I consider excavating 3m realistic if the pool is to be about 2 meters deep. For such constructions, a relatively massive "Sohlplatte" is needed. Its mass serves as flotation security.

I only mentioned the 3m because I read it here. This is not planned and has not been discussed with a professional company. We are still at the very beginning. I would have also thought that there would be technology underneath or something similar.

It would probably be economically sensible to carry out earthworks and the slab directly during the house construction, instead of leaving such things to garden landscapers with their tiny equipment and high material prices. But well, if one does not want to do it now, then nothing can help. The same would apply to the connection to the house with electricity, possibly heat?

They said such pools are operated via an air heat pump - so apparently separately. I will also inquire again whether it wouldn’t be better otherwise.

What kind of heating system do you have again?

For example, solar thermal would actually make sense for a pool. Or if there were a gas/pellets/oil heating system, integrating it into such a large pool would certainly be something to consider, instead of placing a separate heat pump next to it.

For the heat pump, an appropriate underground cable, fuses, etc. can already be planned now, instead of ripping everything up later, going through the wall, changing the electrical system, and so on.
