Sorry, I find them all terrible. Not even the naturalistic ones are that for me in the slightest. But it does show exactly what most people want. Probably professionally well executed, it is still not what I imagine a garden to be.

What kind of gardens do you like? I would like to take a look at some variants of them.

Gladly, but only tomorrow evening from the laptop, using mobile is too fiddly for me with the links

I already somewhat suffer from certain partial areas. But other things, I definitely wouldn't want to inhabit such a garden myself. I even find the family garden too sterile.

I was recently able to walk through a landscaped garden nearby, in the Japanese style with a lot of gravel on the ground. Impressive, yes. But then they vacuum the individual leaves in front of the suction pipe while wearing tights. We also have some graphic approaches – we were still able to quickly make the curve.

Because: these installations only look good in the first year.

When nature reclaims its space, the individual elements no longer look as nice as when newly laid out. A straight edge that is displayed only looks good when it is straight. But it doesn’t stay that way. And the ants love some elements even more with the stones. A forgotten branch on the ground, which does not stand out in a natural garden, looks like an abandoned drink can.

Do you want to hire a gardener who takes care of the well-being of the plants?

I have often seen newly created gardens here with gravel and paving stones in between, it doesn’t look bad, but the gravel doesn’t stay exactly in place, at least if you have children and/or a dog. Our neighbor also always picks out the fallen leaves from the small gravel stones with his hands, which is quite a lot of work.

Best regards
Sabine

Me too
We also have the leaves, including gravel with flagstones.
Individual leaves don't stand out if you practice tolerance, yet they also accumulate, then I take the whole bunch or even the oak leaves from the neighboring avenue.
It's not nice, but you have to live with it... even if it's difficult.
