1000€/sqm? Good that everything here is flat, we have enough excavation material and are otherwise rather unpretentious in many people's eyes. Paving in front + garage + terrace with decking will be done right away, filling up the plot as well. The rest will come gradually. I will make a small stream myself, plants too (except if it becomes a bigger tree), there will be no lawn but a meadow. If I do manage to fit in a dry stone wall somewhere, it will have to be done by a landscaping company because I can't carry stones. Looking forward to the prices then.

"Nothing" is certainly a bit underestimated, but with 100 €/sqm (one hundred, not one thousand!) of garden area you can get quite far.

If a lot of earthworks are required, then my estimate is also 150 €/sqm, but if a landscaper should quote me a value of 1000 €/sqm, I would ask him what he smoked for breakfast.

Yes, without doing some work yourself, it certainly won't be possible with low costs. I would also have a professional do the paving. For the lawn and plants, I wouldn't be willing to pay for the labor.

What I would definitely do is an irrigation system. Otherwise, a nice color mix with different blooming times.

Ground cover helps against ugly weeds. And since you don't feel like doing it, I would recommend a robotic lawn mower.
