I'm breaking off. For that money, others put up a complete shell construction - including earthworks. Where is the proportionality in that? I think I would have left the conversation laughing through tears... The gentlemen from Rheingrün have quite a selfless attitude. But seriously, doesn't one become suspicious there?

I would definitely swim in it every evening if the weather is reasonable. I prefer that 1,000 times over cycling on the exercise bike. And a bit of exercise is necessary......

My daughter goes to bed around 7 p.m. and I don’t get home much earlier.

But a pool is great even for growing children.

The ones from Rheingrün were not the ones with the €70,000 pool.

They were talking about €30,000.

No, they didn’t come across as arrogant, not at all. They simply said that they could well imagine a pool there (stream, spring stone etc. don’t fit the architectural style, which I agree with) when I mentioned that we were thinking about how to incorporate some water in the garden.... and they were very down-to-earth about it, saying it doesn’t have to be such expensive high-end solutions (whereas the other company had referred to the €70,000 more as an entry-level price).

Overall, the references on the website did indeed make us somewhat fear that RG only does high-end projects. We discussed this. It’s rather the case that 70% make gardens like ours with the corresponding budget and the high-end gardens with €200,000+ are the exception, not the rule (like with my neighbor two houses down.... they really threw everything into the mix there..... but they themselves said that it was actually too much of a good thing; you can always do more but that’s a level you don’t necessarily have to reach....).

So all in all, as I said, a good impression.

For children, a pool is certainly something great. Only the friends are dropped off at your place and you have the responsibility.

Hopefully it stays that way. Mine already had phases where she first slept around 9 p.m. but was cranky as early as 7 p.m.

What exactly is a Livingpool?

If you have the money, install one and that's it. You want it, then do it

The Biotop Living Pool is nothing more than a commonly known natural pool. Only the name is a bit fancier, allowing you to charge more money. In the end, it's just a pool with a balancing area that cleans the pool through natural processes.
