Prioritizing horticulture. Do you want to have the entire garden planned?

That's how it is with us too... We do have everything nearby when it comes to playgrounds, soccer fields, etc., but it is very convenient for ourselves and the children to have these things directly in the garden. Under these conditions, the garden is reasonably affordable. We had turf, hedge, fence, 2 terraces, 2 small trees, a few bushes, and the front garden done; doing more doesn't make much sense at the moment as long as the kids are small. As soon as the children no longer use the garden as actively as they do now, it will certainly be restructured, but right now the highest priority is simply to have a play paradise for the little ones.

: Yes, you can (assuming the body is without major impairments). Or rather, you could if you felt like and had the time to inform yourself on how to do it. You don't, that's okay, then you just have to pay someone to do it.

Our garden will also take some time before it looks nice. But that's not because we're overstretching financially or miscalculating, but rather because we want to wait and see a few things first (effects, angle of the sun, lines of sight, neighboring buildings and their shadows, etc.)

I have a six-day week and only Sunday off. And I really want to have that day off or do what I absolutely must do myself. Unfortunately, I have very little free time anyway and want to enjoy Sunday with my daughter.

We are currently installing a double rod panel fence, you don’t need to have a degree for that, it’s really not difficult and I believe we can do it more precisely than a landscaping gardener, because we take more time and measure everything very carefully with a tape measure and a spirit level. If you can assemble an Ikea wardrobe, then you could also manage the fence and in the end you’ll be happy with how well you did it.

Best regards
Sabine

Yes, as I wrote, there is absolutely nothing against it. But you claimed that you were not able to build a fence (and that is simply not true). You don't feel like it or you prefer to do other things in the time you have.

Even in gardens, there is the fast food trend. Everything the same, everything ready-made. Large trees are planted, turf is laid, big hedges are planted, etc. Foil, pebbles, all nice and neat. But in the process, you lose the sense of nature. A building site starts as a desert, and that is human work and time to cultivate it. Plants want to grow, grass wants to sprout, I want to see and experience that. I also want to contribute. It just takes time for the garden to be like in the old stock. That is my opinion. Then it also costs less. Turf 5, per sqm, plus laying. A sack of seed 40,-. The rest is work. Karsten
