It was always planned the way you think. The window manufacturer knows that and will be reminded of it again during the sizing.

I would even expand on just thinking about the workflows: Where do you do something because it makes sense, and where because it can’t be done any better? Workflows can actually improve in a new space—not just more storage space and the rest as usual.

Purely in terms of functionality, there are several miles between the KFB design and the one from kbt09, metaphorically speaking. You should look at that carefully and let it sink in.

You don’t have to do anything, but now you have an excellent alternative in mind.

MUPEL is still being discussed. My wife is right-handed. On which side next to the stove should it then be divided into 2x40 cm? And in which of the 40 cm should the trash go, outside or inside the 40 cm? Of course then in a 3-compartment bin above.

Preparing means for me the optimal path refrigerator - sink - trash and workspace and only then the cooktop

Just something to think about further... one of the reasons why we always design and plan kitchens with adjoining rooms here in the house-building forum.

The high cabinets from the kitchen planner would be approximately where I have now placed the brown box:

I think you should let it sink in first.

The base cabinet with waste system, sink, and dishwasher has less to do with being right- or left-handed, and more with practical workflow. And you get used to it very quickly.

Let's assume that the kitchen will remain roughly the same and we can only sensibly change the spacing for trash, pots, plates, glasses, drawers, etc.
