And is the wall to the stairs only about 200 cm long? Spontaneously, I would have tried to place the French door under the stairs there, but the height might be tight. Otherwise, measurements are missing and personally, I would have once again swapped the cooking and TV sofa areas here.

No, that is just a normal double terrace door. Who would come up with such a sill height? :-p

The stairs go down into the basement. Without a basement, that would definitely be a really cool idea.

Others have already suggested the swap here. We played it through. It just doesn’t feel right to us.

Well, a parapet height of 50 cm is an ideal height for a window seat.
