Haha. That’s a good one. Of course, the patio door will not have this parapet height. It is a completely normal double-leaf door with a mullion. The island is 2.50 m wide. The room is 4.25 m. So you can go around from both sides. Not with a wheelchair, but none of us is assuming that case. Whether it will be 75 cm on the stair wall (yes, it is 2 m) and 1 m at the double door or 87.5 cm on both sides, I will clarify at the signing on Friday or have the top view shown to me beforehand. Both leaves open normally, and when the leaf is open and one is standing in front of the stove, then of course the door has to be swung open, clearly. On that side, there is only one way to the terrace anyway. If shading is meant, then I see no problems with 25 sqm of window surfaces in the 55 sqm room alone.

No, not the shading. It was about the handling of the patio door and the simultaneously somewhat blocked appearance. You really have to move the door every time you want to go out. That would not be for me in a newly planned house.

If it were the opening to the terrace and garden, then it would be a lift-and-slide door (of course wider) like in the south, but this double door is only meant to provide light and be opened occasionally. One must not forget the house is only 11m x 8.25m.

ok, then it should work that way. The main thing is that you like it anyway.

It's not mine, the kitchen. Looks a bit old-fashioned to me with this counter and the lost tall cabinet... 2000-style?

But it fits in terms of dimensions, right?
I find the price reasonable... and "more" kitchen wouldn't fit with you anyway, right?
If you like it, take it!
But I can also imagine that you could get something else for the same price, but what would then be planned differently?

The measurements obviously fit. After all, it’s planned based on our floor plan. That’s exactly the question, and I also asked the kitchen consultant about it again today.

With the basic data, she wouldn’t have planned any other kitchen into the floor plan. Well, the highboard was my idea because simply 1 to 2 wall cabinets are missing. Space-wise, the recirculating oven also takes up a lot of storage space. That was my idea too. The tall cabinet is there because the stove including the microwave needs to go somewhere. It was due to the recirculating oven; many things influenced each other and led to the final floor plan. Although counter and island were fixed from the beginning.

It was only important to me that I don’t pay more for the kitchen than it’s worth.

Thank you for your opinion
