Floor plan single-family house 110m² - ground floor + upper floor - first draft room layout

Attached are 2 drafts of the ground floor, which I tried to realize with HomeByMe :)

The kitchen is only indicative and will definitely not look like this, the countertop in the middle will be wider, the pantry will be removed, and instead we will place a cooking area and sink on the countertop.

By choosing the open living concept, this wish was set aside. Of course, this also brings many disadvantages (noise, smell, etc.). What are your experiences with an open living, dining, and kitchen area? :)

I no longer have children at home.
When my skat or doko ladies come, my husband has to go into the caravan. No, just kidding, he then goes to the office :)

I like an open living space. We used to have it separated. Never again. However, an area should be created where one can quietly make phone calls or read. It doesn't have to be big. A cozy seating area in the bedroom usually suffices.

It can then become a problem when children are sleeping upstairs and people are still working in the kitchen downstairs or watching TV late at night.... I would plan a (glass) door leading to the hallway.
