How do you live today? I wonder how you plan to fit everything with two children in 110m2?

We now have a 110m2 duplex apartment (3 rooms) with 1 child. Well, it is somewhat awkwardly laid out. In terms of area, with a better layout you could definitely fit a second children's room, but then the rest would really be small - Is that the intention?

So, with all due respect, I believe there are very, very many families in Germany who live with two children in significantly less than 110sqm and, hard as it may be to believe, they actually manage it. Sometimes in this forum one gets the feeling that some have somewhat lost touch with reality...

draw your desired or existing furniture to scale. I fear it will be tight in one place or another

Absolutely. What is partially written here is really madness. I think some people should come back down to earth again. Not everyone can afford a 200+ sqm place. And then this constant badmouthing of smaller houses is really terrible.

I do not get the impression that small houses are generally spoken badly of. Oversized houses, which are built only for the sake of size, also get their share of criticism. However, one often reads about too many wishes that can only be accommodated in a large house, which are bitterly defended. Dressing rooms, children's bathrooms, pantries, kitchen islands, and more windows than the Crystal Palace.

No, only that the 111th square meter would "kill" the subsidy.
