Uhm... do you want to raise the entire plot to this height (have you already calculated the costs?) or what is the purpose of raising the house?
I think the "problem" is that the OP in her imagination is making a mountain out of a molehill and fears sinking behind the dwarf dyke into a felt basement and dying the death of darkness (or at least losing the distant view because of it).
Yes, I want to raise the house by about 50cm. Why? 11ant is somewhat right. I have fears... . Not of the darkness, not of the blocked distant view...
Yesterday we were on the plot with a simple laser device. The slope of the embankment begins at about meter 21.5 from the street boundary. Assuming my house is 12m long + 4m building boundary + 4m terrace = 20m. The embankment would therefore start about 1.5m after the terrace. Not nice, I think. I also definitely want a terrace on the west side. If I level the garden with the embankment, then I have at least 2m more depth. I would then plant the outer slope.
Am I getting too worked up about this?
Is there a street height as a reference point?
Attached is the picture from the plan. The target height is marked there. The street runs level along the property. The street is currently being constructed. The curbstones are already laid.
Has the plot already been surveyed height-wise?
Unfortunately not. It will also not be surveyed by the municipality. We will commission this ourselves. Unfortunately, we can only do this after completion of the development work, presumably not until the end of September.
The building plot is currently fairly level. The topsoil was unfortunately removed by the municipality and made available to the farmer. The whole site is therefore about 40cm lower than indicated in the plan .
