I don’t feel that way. What annoys me more is when the TEs give little feedback on individual drafts or disappear completely. Then you have no idea if you’re at least heading in the right direction.

Here is my suggestion for the existing building application:

Brother and stairs are still in the granny flat ;) , his bathroom was deleted. The parents now have it upstairs ensuite – that’s more important.
The light in the stairwell upstairs is unfortunately only artificial, unless you manage to bring light in through the roof – keyword daylight spots. One child sleeps right next to the parents – also a difference, since I found the water disposal via the living room questionable from the start. So soundproofing would need to be improved here. Whether and how the terraces still fit here – the TE refuses to make any statement about this. So she has to see how she manages.
It remains tight, but I think it’s habitable. By the way, my kitchen table in the granny flat measures 130 x 90. :p

A staircase for only one room is even crazier than the initial floor plan

Yes, definitely. The whole planning is a bit crazy, if you ask me. But it would work somewhat, and it was the family's wish to accommodate the brother with grandma and grandpa. So why not?

Because has already presented something very good?! It's enough to just optimize it a little bit more.

But the brother was in the other part of the house, which was originally to be avoided, right?
Also, there were 5 bathrooms in it again...

But has now taken a position on that. The brother has been "downgraded" in terms of status and is getting a room with her, which will also be used as a guest room when he is absent.

However, what should be considered is whether the previously planned granny flat bathroom can still be improved according to ’s plan.
By the way, the post by is on .. here is the link
